It's a behavioral addiction, distinct from substance use disorders but just as real. The programs we connect you with are led by licensed clinicians with dedicated training in problem gambling treatment, pairing group therapy with individual therapy and family therapy as needed, each built around a personalized treatment plan.

Because co-occurring mental health disorders (sometimes called dual diagnosis) like depression and anxiety are common alongside gambling, every client works with licensed mental health professionals who can address the whole picture, including medication such as antidepressants when appropriate.

Every clinician is licensed in the state where their clients live (New York, New Jersey, Ohio, or Florida) and works within a structured, supervised clinical model, with a clear path into peer support groups like Gamblers Anonymous and 12-step programming, plus the aftercare that turns twelve weeks into long-term recovery.

And rehab doesn't have to mean going away. For most people, gambling addiction rehab is outpatient. But we know the full landscape of levels of care, and when someone needs more than virtual care (inpatient treatment, residential treatment, or an intensive outpatient program) we say so and help them find it, including through the National Council on Problem Gambling's directory of certified counselors.
